सुजन डंगोल
कलाकार, केयु आर्ट ब्याच २००८
सुजन डंगोल, एक बहुप्रतिभाशाली कलाकारका रुपमा नेपालमा चिनिनुहुन्छ । उहाँले सन् २०१२ मा काठमाडौं विश्वविद्यालयबाट स्नातक गर्नुभएको हो । उहाँले देश तथा विदेशका विभिन्न स्थानमा भएका थुप्रै कला प्रदर्शनी, आवासीय कला कार्यशाला र सामुदायिक कला परियोजनामा भाग लिनुभएको छ । हाल उहाँ काठमाडौंबाट बिस्थापित मूलनिवासी र काठमाडौंमा शहरी शरणार्थीहरूसँग दीर्घकालीन परियोजनाका रूपमा काम गरिरहनु भएको छ । उहाँका अनुसार कला वस्तु जसरी निर्माण गर्न सकिदैंन, तर यो त एक साँच्चो उपहारका रुपमा मानवदेखि मानवसम्म सिक्दै, आदानप्रदान हुँदै आँउदछ ।

Sujan Dangol
Multi-disciplinary artist, KU-Art Batch 2008
Sujan Dangol is a multi-disciplinary artist who has participated in several exhibitions, artist residencies, and community art projects in different parts of the country as well as abroad. Currently, He is working with displaced natives of Kathmandu Valley and urban refugees in Kathmandu as a long-term project. He believes art cannot be manufactured, but it comes as a true gift from people to people by sharing and learning.

कैलाश के श्रेष्ठ, नेपाली कलाक्षेत्रमा बहुप्रतिभाशाली कलाकारका रुपमा परिचित हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँले नेपालको सामाजिक तथा राजनीतिक वास्तविकतालाई कलामार्फत अभिव्यक्त गर्दै तिनका व्यक्तिगत एवं अन्तरसम्बन्धित कार्यमाथि आलोचनात्मक ढंगले प्रश्न उठाउँदै आउनुभएको छ । श्रेष्ठले सन् २०१० मा आर्टुडियो स्थापना गर्नुभयो, जसले समसामयिक कलाको प्रयोग, कला अभ्यास, पहल र दृश्यकला शिक्षालाई ग्रामीण तहका समुदाय, सार्वजनिक स्थल तथा आमदर्शकका बीचमा पुर्याउने काम गर्दछ । सन् २०१५ को विनाशकारी भूकम्पको कारण उहाँले आफ्नो जन्म स्थल गैरिमुदीमा प्राण सामुदायिक कला केन्द्र स्थापना गर्नुभयो । उहाँ अस्ट्रेलियन हिमालयन फाउण्डेसनको कला पुरस्कार पाउने पहिलो नेपाली कलाकार हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँले राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय स्तरमा थुप्रै कला गतिविधि तथा प्रदर्शनी गर्नुभएको छ ।

Kailash K Shrestha
Visual Artist, Founder at Artudio, KU-Art Batch 2004
Kailash K Shrestha is a Kathmandu-based visual artist who uses a wide range of visual languages & processes to create both personal and relatable works critiquing the socio-political realities of Nepal. Shrestha founded Artudio, a center for contemporary arts to advance art practices, initiatives and visual arts education amongst grassroots communities, public spaces, and larger audiences. He established the Pran Community arts center in his home village of Gairimudi in the wake of the devastating 2015 earthquakes that affected the locality heavily. Shrestha is the first Nepali artist to receive the Australian Himalaya Foundation’s Art Award and is regularly involved with national and international events/exhibitions.

एथ्नोम्यूजीकोलोजी अन्वेषक, सहसंस्थापक – फजस्केप
राजन श्रेष्ठ (जन्म सन् १९८१) काठमाडौंस्थित अन्तर अनुशासनात्मक कलाकार हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँले मुख्यतया संगीतमार्फत आफ्नो सिर्जनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति दिँदै आउनुभएको छ । उहाँ काठमाडौंमा आधारित पोस्ट रक आउटफिट, जिन्दावादका लागि बेसिस्ट र सहनिर्माता हुनुहुन्छ । काठमाडौं विश्वविद्यालयको संगीत विभागबाट एथ्नो–म्युजिकोलजी स्नातक गर्नुभएका श्रेष्ठले ‘फाटकाउली’को मोनिकर अन्तर्गत संगीत निर्माण गर्नुहुन्छ । उहाँ अनासीरको एक आधा हिस्सा पनि हुनुहुन्छ जुन पाकिस्तानी इलेक्ट्रोनिक संगीतकार एलियन पाण्डा जुरीसँगको एक सहयोगी परियोजना हो । उहाँ फजस्केपको संस्थापक सदस्यमध्ये एक हुनुहुन्छ, जुन संगीत, अभिलेख र अडियो भिजुअलको माध्यमबाट कथा कथनमा प्राथमिक ध्यान दिने सांस्कृतिक दस्तावेजको लागि एक मञ्च हो । श्रेष्ठ वर्तमानमा इकोज इन द भ्याली नामको ग्रासरूट संगीत महोत्सवसँग पनि आबद्ध हुनुहुन्छ ।

Rajan Shrestha
Ethnomusicology Scholar, Co-Founder- Fuzzscape
Rajan Shrestha is a Kathmandu based inter-disciplinary artist working primarily with music. Bassist/ co-producer for a Kathmandu based post-rock outfit, Jindabaad. Shrestha is an Ethnomusicology graduate from Kathmandu University, Department of Music and produces music under the moniker of ‘phatcowlee’. He is also one half of Anaasir, a collaborative project with Pakistani electronic musician Alien Panda Jury. One of the founding members of Fuzzscape, a platform for cultural documentation with a primary focus on music, archival, and storytelling through audio-visual medium Shrestha is currently associated with a grassroots music festival named Echoes In The Valley.
