French Artist Julien de Casabianca’s Outings project in Artudio Building

Artudio is hosting Julien de Casabianca, creator of the Outings-Project , a project intended to bring the traditional artworks out of the museums and into the street. The gargantuan piece will cover an entire side of Artudio’s and Disaster Hack’s HQ, Swoyambhu, Chhauni Hospital Road.

Julien de Casabianca is 44yo, French/Corsican, is visual artist and movie-maker.In 2014, he initiated the Outings Project, street art and photography work, and he’s been invited to show his work in many museums such as Ixelles Museum in Belgium, Geneva Art & History Museum in Swizterland, Cummer Museum in Jaskconsville, Arocena Museum in Torreon, Mexico, Memphis Museum and to paste their collections in the streets. His work is always related to the street, even it’s movie, as his first one, Night after the rain, wrote for him by Gao Xingjian, Nobel Prize in Literature.

Thanks to Matthew Rockwell, founder of Disaster Hack, who is curating the piece. He has been helping Nepal use 3d printers to print prosthesis, teach computer code, get more internet to rural villages, and bring art to Nepal since surviving the quakes.
