Artudio, Center for Visual Arts, initiative Bal Kala Sangrahalaya is a virtual museum for children’s artworks. Artudio has been implementing this initiative since 2011, by Visual Artist and Founder of Artudio, Mr. Kailash K Shrestha.
The vision of this virtual museum is specifically created for children between the ages of 1 to 16 years of age, to acknowledge their expressions, appreciate it and share it globally. We want to be able to show the innocence and uniqueness of every child. The world in the perspective of children, what and how they observe, interpret their surroundings and how their imagination develops them. We believe in the power of observation and an imagination; we want to help the children express it through a visual language. Children’s true thoughts, emotions and feelings are expressed through their artworks. This is a way for us to also learn about children’s state of mind, their surroundings, their observations and their emotional state. Through this initiative, we want to create a different and new perspective in the way we look at children’s visual expressions, their learning process and their education systems.
