It’s a public art basically done for the public by using dead public spaces giving artistic expression on social theme.
Through the street art we are bridging art to the public. We also involve students from different schools and colleges to motivate them in artistic expression and build their confidence in the process of making art in public spaces.
We have already done various street art projects in the city which includes Boundary wall of Hotel Himalaya, Kupondole, Boundary wall of Ban Bibhag, Hattisar, Democracy Wall, Boundary wall of Tri- Chandra College, Boundary wall of National Trading, Thapathali, Boundary wall of Ideal Model School, Jhamsikhel and many other places outside Kathmandu Valley. We have also collaborated with the UNICEF to involved hundreds of school Students and local artists from Pokhara to celebrate global handwashing day through the street art project.
Street art is one of the strong genre of visual art, ended in public spaces — that is, “in the streets”. Simply saying ‘Street Art” is one of the most powerful art movements in the world today to give relief to public spaces as well as connecting public to the art world.
These are some of our works.
