Workshop on Oil Painting Classical Approach to Realism (Registration Open)
We are calling serious art students and art enthusiasts to join the workshop on the classical oil painting approach to realism. The workshop will feature studio practice, lecture, demonstration, presentation, art history, art movements, and criticisms.

Fee: 500 per session
Time: 7-10 am in the morning & 3- 6 in the evening
Technique: Classical oil painting approach to realism
Alla prima (wet on wet) or direct painting approach
Fat over lean (layer on the layer), indirect approach (if interested)
Subjects: Still life, Portrait, Landscape & participants’ taste in choosing subject matter with the help of a mentor/instructor.

Required materials for the workshop:
2 palettes per person (made of glass primed with neutral color art back), mixing palette, and color grouping palette
Oil color (Classical color palette should be discussed in Artudio before buying materials)
Palette knife, refined linseed oil, proportional divider, brushes, natural hug bristles brushes (fibers), and small round brushes
Turpentine oil, paper towels for cleaning, containers.
Canvas with stretcher
Acrylic colors: Burnt umber and Titanium white for priming canvas(500ml)
Easel
Art supplies and materials should be managed by participants
Artudio will provide mentorship and full excess to the studio space
