Artist and founder of Artudio, Kailash K Shrestha, featured in the international exhibition Echoes of the Mandala, organized by the Nepal Art Council at the India International Centre in New Delhi from 14–22 February 2026. The exhibition was curated by Swosti Rajbhandari.
The exhibition presented a dynamic overview of traditional and contemporary Nepali art, bringing together more than thirty artists whose works engage with the philosophical, spiritual, and contextual dimensions of the mandala within contemporary artistic practices.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Karan Singh, marking an important cultural moment that strengthened artistic and cultural dialogue between Nepal and India.
Featuring artists such as Sujan Dangol, Mukti Singh Thapa, Lok Chitrakar, Binod Pradhan, Jeevan Rajopadhyay, S.C Suman , Manish Shrestha, and many others, Echoes of the Mandala highlighted the diversity and evolving perspectives within Nepal’s contemporary art landscape.
Through his participation, Kailash K Shrestha contributed to this broader artistic dialogue, presenting work that reflects his ongoing exploration of philosophical and socio-political narratives within contemporary visual language. The exhibition provided an important international platform for Nepali artists to engage with audiences beyond Nepal and further expand the global visibility of contemporary Nepali art.
