An artist from Dolakha who founded Artudio, one of the leading contemporary arts center in Kathmandu in 2010 is initiating Pran Community arts center in his birth place Gairimudi, Dolakha after he lost his beautiful house in the village. He believes in the power of and and its its practice in the grassroots that has never acknowledged and addressed by the mainstream art world. Communities in Nepal has practiced art since ages and the vision of this community arts center is to respect our own community art practice and connect to the mainstream art world through the contemporary art practices, workshops, educational practices , residencies, exhibitions and publications.
