Artudio warmly invites you to an engaging Artists Talk featuring our current Resident Artists, Rubab Batool and Konain Niaz, as part of their ongoing project developed during their Artudio international artists residency  (AIAR) at Artudio. The session will be moderated by Neha Hirachan, founder and Director of Jho Media.

Titled “Connection, Memory & Borders,” this collaborative digital curation project explores how digital space interacts with themes of memory, identity, and migration—intertwining personal narratives with collective histories.

🎙️ About the Artists:

Rubab Batool
Rubab is a writer, researcher, and artist currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Critical Media Studies at HSE Moscow. Her artistic practice often weaves together sci-fi, speculative fiction, and digital curation. Deeply engaged with cultural theory, diasporic studies, and digital humanities, her works provoke reflection on identity, memory, and imagined futures.

Konain
Konain is an interdisciplinary artist, data scientist, and educator. Their practice investigates human history, migration, and languages, often incorporating mapping and information systems to craft data-driven narratives. Currently pursuing graduate studies in Information Science, Konain bridges analytical research with visual expression to uncover layered human stories.

Rubab and Konain are collaborating on a digital curation project that examines how contemporary digital spaces become vessels for memory, identity, and cross-border dialogue.

🎤 Moderator: Neha Hirachan
Neha Hirachan is the founder and director of Jho Media, a dynamic platform that explores mixed media for social change. With a strong interest in environmental and climate narratives, Neha brings a storytelling lens that combines visual arts, digital engagement, and media innovation. While not a visual artist herself, she increasingly integrates art elements into her projects to enrich public dialogue and community engagement.

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness an engaging conversation at the confluence of art, technology, and identity.

Free for all.
