Job Title: Art Project Manager
Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
Terms: Five Months, Full-Time, Sunday-Saturday 10 am – 5 pm (flexible)
Note: The position may require additional working hours.
Salary: Depends on Experience
About us: Artudio, Center for Visual Arts is a contemporary art collective/ platform of and for artists and art enthusiasts. It is a space intended for self-reflection /realization and brings forth transformative engagement through contemporary art practices, initiatives, exhibitions, residencies and visual arts education.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Art Project
Plan and develop the project idea
Schedule and maintain the Project calendar
Coordinating with the artists and work closely with Program Director and Curator
Coordinating arrivals & departures for international artists.
Coordinate regular programs, workshops, meetups, exhibitions and other programs and events
Manage online application and selection process including following up with artists about their application status.
Create and maintain the project contracts
Prepare invoices/receipts, write contents and letters, record, and deposit checks
Track program budget and complete monthly expense reports
Maintain websites for the project and Archive and work with documentation team
Coordinate to promote programs through online, email, and social media
Manage Archive, internship program including communication with partners and supervising interns
Assist curator and program director
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Traits:
Strong commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility
Strong writing, verbal, coordination and communication skills in english
The ability to work independently on the project.
Demonstrated work ethic, strong people skills and a positive attitude.
Experience using computers, Word, Excel, Mail Chimp, google workspace (Willing to train the right person)
Experience and/or personal interest in the arts is preferred!
Knowledge of and/or interest in literature, architecture, history, politics and/or archives a plus!
