Artudio warmly invites you to the upcoming exhibition “Rhythmless; Repetition”, presenting the works from our international residency artist Biu, Tsoi Sung Piu @tsoisung.iu from Hong Kong.
This exhibition will be held at Artudio, Swayambhu, Kathmandu, from 29th August to 31st August 2025.

“I repetitively photograph, until the leaves regrow.”
Rituals repeat, but repetition is not theirs. Repetition can itself composes the rhythm of a place. In REPETITION, the act of photography became a performative ritual, eventually giving way to the natural digitalization of images. In RHYTHMLESS—a short video essay—repetitive sounds emerged as visuals. They manifested and articulated the communal rhythm. The question is: how might repetition, and the time that lingers, possibly reconfigure the shared understanding of one’s place?
