As part of our AIAR June 2025 (Artudio International Artists Residency Program), join Lithuanian fashion designer and researcher Justina Semčenkaitė for an immersive afternoon that reimagines fashion as a powerful tool for social change.
In Sketching Statements, Justina invites participants to explore how clothing can express values, challenge norms, and voice resistance. You’ll dream up bold looks with messages that matter — sketching garments that speak louder than words. No prior fashion experience needed, just your voice and vision.
And while your ideas take shape, sip on specially curated Lithuanian coffee from Backstage Roasters, hand-selected by Justina and her partner Robertas. It’s a slow, sensory celebration of creativity, craft, and community.
