VERNACULAR SENSE & ESSENCE OF BUNGAMATI PERFORMACE

Vernacular Sense and Essence of Bungamati a live performance Art on sensing the Vernacular Architecture of the ancient town of Bungamati in the aftermath of the Gurkha Earthquake 2015.

Performance artist Salisl Subedi and Kathmanu University, School of Arts, Center for Art & Design students Santosh Harga Magar, Yajyau Manandhar, Sameet Tamrakar, Bharat Rai, Amrit Karki, Kunjan Krishan Tamang, Shyam Prajapati, Hisila Maharjan, Minod Bhaila, Rahul Thapa, Bibek Thapa, Ximi Wang, Saroj Maharjan, Parish Shakya, and Utsav Maharjan peformed at Bungamati on 21st August, 2015.

The event was organized by Kathmandu University, Centre for Art and Design

The event also hosted the local screenings of Digital Storytelling
produced in collaboration with Willemijn van Kol and Elizabeth Hacker
in Tea Shops and vernacular spaces in Bungamati.
