Artudio is pleased to present Where the Water Falls, a solo exhibition by artist Ohr Marom Munk, developed during his residency at the Artudio International Artist Residency (AIAR) in Kathmandu.
Drawing from Nepal’s ancient hiti water systems, the ceremonial journeys of child monks, and the often-unseen individuals who sustain everyday urban life, the exhibition reflects on memory, devotion, visibility, and collective responsibility.
Through video, installation, and new media works, Munk considers water as both a material necessity and a symbolic force—carrying histories, beliefs, care, and transformation across time. Moving between public rituals and hidden infrastructures, the exhibition traces what communities preserve, what fades into absence, and what continues to flow beneath visible systems.
Rooted in the artist’s experience in Nepal, Where the Water Falls becomes a meditation on the fragile yet persistent connections between tradition and change, asking how societies remember, sustain, and imagine their collective futures.
