Artudio x I for Illustrators: Everything in Between
Artudio, in collaboration with I for Illustrators’ Everything in Between, invites you to a reflective and process-driven session that opens up the often-unseen layers of artistic practice. This gathering is designed as a space to dwell within the quieter dimensions of making—where experimentation unfolds, iterations are abandoned, directions shift, and subtle realizations gradually shape the evolution of a work.
At its core, this session moves beyond finished outcomes, focusing instead on the lived experience of creation—the in-between states that define an artist’s journey.
Featuring Residency Artists from Bangladesh
This special session features Bangladeshi artist duo Lamia Azad and Shamim Ahmed Chowdhury, currently resident artist in the Artudio International Artist Residency (AIAR).
Running parallel to their exhibition “And Still, There’s Light” at Artudio, the session will offer an intimate look into their evolving practices—tracing themes of rupture, rebuilding, and hope through both visual and poetic expressions. Their sharing will unfold as a dialogue around process, material sensitivity, and the shifting emotional and conceptual landscapes that inform their work.
Participatory Experience
As part of the session, participants will engage in a short, hands-on exercise inspired by the artists’ process. This interactive component encourages attendees to reflect on their own creative methods, inviting a deeper connection to the act of making.
